Black Forest

Measuring approximately 11,400 square kilometres, the Black Forest holiday region is “huge”. Almost half of this area is covered by the low mountain range that gives the region its name. Our holiday region has many facets and offers completely different possibilities. Come to discover us.

The Black Forest stretches densely forested from the Upper Rhine in the south to the Kraichgau in the north. From spring to late autumn, extensive (cycling) hiking trails invite you to use the natural area.

The Titisee and Schluchsee are good recreation areas for divers and surfers.

The mountain tops Hornisgrinde or Schliffkopf offer beautiful views due to their height.

The serpentine country roads are not only a magnet for motorcycle enthusiasts on beautiful summer days.

The Feldberg and Todtnau are known throughout Germany as famous winter sports areas and Hinterzarten is considered a talent factory of German ski jumpers.

The Black Forest is well developed for the railway. Once again, Kork, with its train station, is an ideal starting point for relaxing days in the German south.
