Europa-Park

The Europa-Park is considered one of the best theme parks in the world. Countless attractions for every age are available over almost 1,000,000m². Opened in 1975, the operators spare no effort to inspire visitors with new ideas year after year.

From wooden rollercoasters, to the Eurosat (a roller coaster running in the shadow of a huge ball) over various water roller coasters, merry-go-rounds, theme tracks and water rides, every age will get their money's worth. 

In addition to a number of shows and parades, a 4D cinema rounds off the Europa-Park experience.
Since 1995, the SWR has been broadcasting the programme “Immer wieder Sonntags” from the park. The awarding of Miss Germany as well as various dance festivals are held there regularly.

Also, in winter the park has been offering a varied programme for several years. In addition to skating, bobsleigh rides and the annual Santa Claus gathering, there is a huge Christmas market and plenty of appropriately decorated stalls, cottages and trees.
